One Milestone at a Time – My #QuestTo1M

I haven’t posted very often about my specific, personal goals. Largely that’s just because things have been incredibly busy and my time to sit and write a blog post has been minimal. One of my goals that I set for myself for 2015 was to lift 1,000,000 pounds. This was just a hair-brained idea that I had and I honestly wasn’t sure if I’d reach it.

I’ve been tracking most of my weight training workouts in Bodybuilding.com’s BodySpace website and iOS app. and last week I was happy to see that I’ve crossed the 800,000 pounds lifted milestone. At this rate, I fully expect to be able to reach my goal by the end of October.

The picture above also shows a little note that my wife left me, which I’ve kept in my notebook, moving it from page-to-page as I fill each one up with another logged workout. Her support has meant a lot and her encouragement has been a huge part in motivating me to get a workout in when I really just want to sit at home.

Leave a comment below telling me about your goal(s) and how working toward it has been going for you!
