Review: Jacked-In-A-Box by Muscle & Fitness
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably noticed a surge in the number of monthly subscription boxes in the past couple of years. These boxes exist for pretty much any interest: complete high-end outfits, treats for your dog, nerdy toys, cosmetics, and even healthy foods. Jacked-In-A-Box is a monthly box of fitness supplement samples from the editors of Muscle & Fitness Magazine. I’ve had my eye on Jacked-In-A-Box for a while and last week I finally decided to give it a try!
Signing up for Jacked-In-A-Box was quick and only cost $15. Every membership comes with free monthly box shipping (most other membership boxes charge you for shipping); a full one-year subscription to your choice of Muscle & Fitness, FLEX, Muscle & Fitness Hers, or Men’s Health magazines; free shipping from the Muscle & Fitness store; exclusive offers; a workout from a Muscle & Fitness editor; and contests for writing product reviews.
While I love working out, sometimes you just need a little extra fire in your engine to keep you going when you might be thinking about ending your work out early. With all of the pre-works on the market, it can be overwhelming to decide on which one to buy. Within a week of signing up I received my first box, which came with 10 pre-workout supplement samples (listed below) and some of the sample packets even included more than one serving:
- BPI 1.M.R. Vortex
- Muscle Pharm Assault
- Beast Sports Nutrition Beast Mode
- MHP Fit Trainer
- Optimum Nutrition Platinum Pre-Workout
- Athletic Edge Nutrition PreSurge
- PNI Prodigy
- Top Secret Nutrition Pump Igniter
- MRI Surge Pre-Training
- VPX Redline White Heat
Also included in the box was a postcard which provided some detailed information about each supplement and on the reverse side, included a “Calf To Cow” workout routine for your calves, by Gunnar Peterson, who trains celebrities and professional athletes.
If you’re like me and you’ve been wanting to try the latest and most popular fitness supplements, without the commitment of buying a big container of one and hoping you like it, Jacked-In-A-Box makes it easy to sample with peace of mind. So far I’ve been very impressed with the value for my money and the variety of the samples that I’ve received. I can’t wait to see what shows up in my mailbox next month!
Disclosure: This review was done entirely of my own choosing. I wasn’t paid by Muscle & Fitness to do this review and I wasn’t given a free Jacked-In-A-Box membership. If you’re interested in trying out Jacked-In-A-Box, I hope you’ll sign up using one of the affiliate links in this post.
